The third in a trilogy that started with The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded, directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski. Superhuman Neo (Keanu Reeves) returns with compatriot and lover Trinity (Carrie-Ann Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) in a plot where most of the action takes place on a "scorched Earth" as the machines invade Zion.
