Zia (Patrick Fugit) doesn't have much to live for and decides to take the ultimate plunge. After committing suicide, he finds himself in a strange land of limbo that's filled with other tragic suicides. While there he goes on an epic journey to find his former girlfriend and picks up a pair of interesting characters to accompany him: Eugene (Shea Whigham) and Mikal (Shannyn Sossamon).
