When Jose (Roberto Urbina) goes back home to Columbia to visit, he is immediately kidnapped by criminals who demand a huge ransom from his father, Carlos (Tony Plana). Rather than go to the corrupt and ineffectual police, Carlos makes a deal with an underworld warlord to raise the exhorbitant payment. Meanwhile, Jose does his best to try to escape from the crooks who nabbed him.
