Nina Shah (Shelley Conn) is an Indo-Scottish woman who left home at an early age after a particularly ugly fight with her father. Years later, when the old man dies, Nina returns home to run the family restaurant, the Curry House. While clashing with her business partner, Lisa (Laura Fraser), and reuniting with her Bollywood drag-queen friend, Bobbi (Ronny Jhutti), Nina attempts to win the Best of the West curry competition. Not only all of that, Nina also realizes that she's unexpectedly falling in love with her most hated foe … Lisa!
