In '60s-era Italy, Manrico (Riccardo Scarmaccio) and Accio (Elio Germano) are brothers but are completely opposite in their personalities. Manrico is the handsome, outgoing one, while Accio is the quiet one. The sibling rivalry becomes increasingly strained when Manrico joins the Communists and Accio joins the Fascists.
