Yuji Nishizaki (Takao Osawa) is a former war photographer who finds himself stuck in the snow-covered Northern Alps of Japan. While in this desolate no-man's-land, he witnesses the crash of a U.S. bomber, which contains a secret nuclear payload that could destroy the entire island nation. On orders from the government and at great personal risk, Yuji tries to find the downed plane and prevent it from blowing up.
