This documentary profiles the eccentric Dr. Emanuel Bronner, who, in 1948, created his formula for Magic Soap, an all-purpose liquid that can still be found in health food stores all over the country. Because his father was locked in a mental institution at various times, Dr. Bronner's son Ralph barely knew him, but now he faithfully runs the empire the old man built.
