Four aspiring actors go live for the summer in a cabin in the woods to hammer out a screenplay for a film that they all hope will be their big break. While the quartet is intent on working hard, their personal relationships keep distracting them from the goal at hand. Matt (Ross Patridge) has broken up with his girlfriend Catherine (Elise Muller), even though they still occasionally sleep together. Meanwhile, Chad (Steve Zissis) has a mad crush on Michelle (Greta Gerwig), who desperately lusts after Matt. Things get really crazy when Michelle sees a man with a bag over his head, but no one can figure out if he was just an illusion or a maniac out to kill them all.
